Words for Wellness 8 - Feel good vibrations
There is one thing in the world that every single person wants in their life - and that’s to FEEL GOOD.

Everything we do is guided by that desire to feel good - we want to do more of what makes us feel good, and avoid those things which make us feel shit.
🍀 Every single decision we make…
🍀 Every action we take…
🍀 Every word we speak…
🍀 Every move we make…
And sometimes we don’t realise that choosing those small term feel good actions is what actually results in long term feeling bad.
Think addiction, cheating, overeating, lying, avoidance, saying yes when we want to say no, staying in a soul sucking job or relationship - insert your own action.
Is it any wonder that so many people are out of alignment or acting in ways that make relationships difficult, conversations just plain horrible and life harder than it needs to be.
So how do we get back into alignment, firstly by understanding that everything in our universe vibrates. It has to do with atoms and energy and frequency. Your vibration is a fancy way of describing your overall state of being - in other words feeling good.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” - Nikola Tesla
Everything in the universe is made up of energy vibrating at different frequencies.
And we all vibrate at a certain frequency. Some people vibrate low and some people vibrate high and some vibrate somewhere in between.
✏️ Journaling Practice
❤️ When we vibrate low our energy is negative, heavy and sad.
💚 When we vibrate high, our energy is positive, light, happy, and joyful.
Start by exploring one or more of the following in your journal and the different ways they make you feel, and ultimately how that contributes or detracts from your vibrational energy.
Become conscious of your thoughts - what do they tell you.
Find something beautiful and show your appreciation - person, place, object - what makes it beautiful for you.
Be conscious of what you eat - foods vibrate at different frequencies. How does your body ‘feel’ after eating certain foods.
Think water - drink it, bathe in it, swim in it. Be at one with it.
Meditate - explore a new or different way of meditating, or start meditating.
Be grateful - what in your life makes you smile and feel grateful.
Practice acts of kindness - who benefits and how does it make you feel to spread a little kindness.
Do things that make you feel good - want are they, and why do these things make you feel good.
Surround yourself with others who sparkle and feel good to be with. Who are they, what makes them sparkle and stand out.
Honour what your body tells you - about people, places and experiences. It knows what you need. If it feels good do more of it, and if it feels bad - do less of it.
💎 Wordweaver
All living things vibrate, some with resonance to the universe
Others off tune but the fact holds still, we choose our vibration
Love and happiness draws us to the higher tune of vibration
Fear and worry drags us down to the lower frequency
Whether we lay on the ground or stand firm on our feet
We are constantly vibrating to the tune guided by harmony of our thoughts
Our actions steer us closer or further from our right frequency
In harmony with our thoughts and actions and foods we consume we vibrate
The light within our souls never guarantee absolute light for all days
We can raise the energy whenever we take hold and control of our subconscious
Body and soul, mind and spirit all in unison with a unified purpose to be free
Casting all the negativity away, if we focus on positive so shall the energy and outcome be

The solutions
🌟 Get clear on the things which make you feel good (long term) and do more of that. Happy people doing things which make them feel good generate a special kind of energy.
🌟 Seek to understand what makes you feel rotten and take small steps to change that (jobs, people, relationships, situations, habits) and either walk away from it or do the work on it.
And if that all seems too hard, it doesn’t need to be. Find someone to help you do the work - engage a coach who can take you through the process and help you discover things which only an outsider can see, find a mentor who’s already doing the things you want more of.
The reality is that nothing changes unless you change, and it won’t change by wishing or hoping it away.
