Words for Wellness 5 - Authentic You, Shining Bright
Being authentic and shining bright, when everything feels hard and heavy, is perhaps your greatest gift to yourself, to your soul, to humanity.

Who has discovered that chasing the material trappings and traditional expressions of success is leaving you feeling confused, frustrated and empty.
Who is being called to do something different - and yet doesn’t know what that looks like or how to find it, yet intuitively knows there’s more to life than the life they’re living.
Who feels guilty for wanting more, when others have so little. And to the outsider looking in - you appear confident, successful and happy, and you know you should be grateful - because according to traditional models of success you do have it all.
🌻 What if the answers you are seeking are already within you?
🌻 What if you already know what you need?
🌻 What if you stopped doing the ‘expected’?
🌻 What if the traditional meaning of success was wrong?
🌻 What if you were free to create the life of your dreams
What if you realised that permission comes from within and you don’t need external permission or validation to be happy, to be successful, to be loved.
How much would this realisation change your life?

The best place to start living your life more authentically and shining bright is by understanding and elevating your vibration. Focus instead on your thoughts, feelings and experiences, rather than on material objects, prestige and what other people think and say about you.
❤️ When you vibrate low your energy is negative, heavy and sad.
💚 When you vibrate high, your energy is positive, light, happy, and joyful.
10 ways to raise your vibration - find the words to write about what one (or more) of the following means to you. What does it look like? What happens in your life when you consciously take action to raise your vibration?
Become conscious of your thoughts…where are they coming from, what triggers them?
Find something beautiful and truly appreciate it. How does it make you feel, more importantly why does it make you feel that way?
Be conscious of what you eat - foods vibrate at different frequencies. How does your body ‘feel’ with certain foods? Explore parts of your body affected by these foods, ask your body what it needs and write about it?
Water - drink it, bathe in it, surround yourself in its restorative goodness. Not drinking enough, consciously choose to drink more. Bathe in it, swim in it. How does your body feel?
Meditate - choose a guided mediation which explores your true self. What does this meditation bring up for you - thoughts, feelings, beliefs, insights.
Be grateful - what does gratitude look like for you and how do you celebrate it.
Practice acts of kindness - one person, one kind act. What does kindness look like for you, how do your actions make a difference. The kindness could be for someone else or just as importantly for yourself.
Do things that make you feel good - what is it about this activity that makes you feel good.
Surround yourself with others that sparkle and feel good to be with. Bask in their light and bring it into yourself - others light expands the light within you. Let it in.
Honour what your body is telling you - about people, places and experiences. It knows what you need. If it feels good do more of it, and if it feels bad - do less of it. And release all that has had its time.

You are here to feel happy and content and inspired and well in yourself.
You are here to have fun and create meaningful moments and find the sparkle in your eyes again.
You are here to unravel the magic of being alive, the magic of being you.
To heal. To feel whole again.
Do something today that lights you up. Activate your joy. Bring about a genuine smile from your heart.
